Dr. Alyson Sanchious was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She attended the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Health Science before earning her Medical Doctorate from The Florida State University College of Medicine in May 2014. That same year, she relocated to Fort Myers, FL, as part of the inaugural class of family medicine resident physicians at Lee Health.

Following residency, Dr. Sanchious dedicated seven years to serving her community at a federally qualified health center, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to underserved populations.

Dr. Sanchious is triple board-certified in Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine and holds the prestigious title of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP)—an honor recognizing her significant contributions to family medicine and her commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Sanchious is deeply passionate about educating and empowering individuals

to take control of their health and well-being so they can truly THRIVE.

Beyond medicine, she is a devoted wife and mother of two, balancing her career, family, and a strong commitment to community well-being. Her journey of faith, resilience, and service is a testament to the power of perseverance.
